Brooks Matthew Champagne, 22, a native and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at noon Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce Champagne Sr. and Mary Dusenberry Champagne of Houma; two brothers, Bruce Champagne Jr. and fiancee’, Katie Watkins, and Brandon Champagne and wife, Amanda, of Houma; one sister,
Brittany Champagne and boyfriend, Sean Chauvin, of Houma; one niece, Grace Champagne; his maternal grandmother, Margery D. Dusenberry; and his paternal grandmother, Elsie Rich.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Dusenberry; and his paternal grandfather, Edward Champagne.
He was a Day Camp Youth Counselor at St. Bernadette Catholic Church and was an avid Denver Broncos and LSU Tiger Fan.
He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
