Wilbert Boudreaux

April 25, 1957 — November 3, 2021

Wilbert Antoine Boudreaux, age 64, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was a native of Dulac and longtime resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Celebration of Wilbert’s Life will start at 12:00 p.m. with burial in Rogers Cemetery.

Wilbert is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, DeAnna Verrett Boudreaux; children, Crystal (Jose) Ulloa-Reyes, Shelby (Cara) Boudreaux Norman (Daisy)Billiot, Lisa (Elisa) Hernandez-Santiago, April (John) Francis, Daisy Boudreaux, Brandon (Jullie) Boudreaux, Wilbert and Cody Boudreaux; grandsons, Brandon Jr., Tre’, Landen, Steven, Devin, Seth, Drake, Juan, Mikey, Hunter, Colby Jr., Iliberto, Calliou, Jaziel, Calvin, and Mason; granddaughters, Nadalyn-Nicole, Grace, Rose, Cassie, Daisy Marie, Julia, and Kaysha; great grandchildren, Josiah, Journee, Kazmir, and Beckham; Godchildren, Colby and Cheyenne Verrett, and Victoria Pertuit; siblings, Delores Trosclair, Ivy (Theresa) Boudreaux, Betty Dauzet, Gloria (Wayne) Duplantis, Ernest Boudreaux, Jeanette (Paul) Aucoin, Nettie (Monell) Burton, Lillian (Gordon) Voisin, Larry Boudreaux, Gilbert Boudreaux, Edna Boudreaux, Victoria (Gerald) Guidry, and Lisa (Jerry) Deese.

Wilbert is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Marie Boudreaux; siblings, Eddie Jr., Maurice, Ira and Edward Boudreaux; infant son, Johnathan Wilbert Antoine Boudreaux.

Wilbert was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He treasured his family, friends, and his cat “Fancy” and dogs “Pee Wee” and “Baby Girl”. He loved the Saints and his president “TRUMP”, but most of all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and he was a faithful servant. He also was a master carpenter and loved the smell of wood. Anyone who knew Wilbert, knew he did not like to fish or Joe Biden!
