Whitney Joseph Boudreaux, Jr.

Whitney Joseph Boudreaux, Jr., age 90, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 15, 2021. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma, LA.

Whitney is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Rita Soudelier Boudreaux; sons, Wendel "Winky" L. Boudreaux and wife, Dianne, and Shawn "Toby" T. Boudreaux and wife, Jane; daughter, Denise C. Boudreaux; brother, James Boudreaux, Sr.; sister, Daisy Porche; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Whitney was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney Joseph Sr. and Marguerite Guilfour Boudreaux; son, Martin "Marty" A. Boudreaux; brother, Robert Boudreaux, Sr.

Whitney was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He retired 1st Lt. 2nd Battalion 156 Infantry Black Sheep Squadron. He was a retired teacher with Terrebonne Parish School Board. He loved teaching with all his heart. He will be dearly missed by all whose hearts he touched. Donations may be made to the Regional Military Museum in Whitney’s name.
