Wayne Paul Haddad

October 8, 1946 — April 8, 2022

Wayne Paul Haddad, age 75, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was a native of Houma and a longtime resident of Bourg.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will resume on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Annunziata Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Kathleen “Kathy” Morvant Haddad; sons, Bryan Haddad and wife Rachel, Jared Haddad, Brent Haddad and wife Heather; grandchildren, Colin Haddad, Madison Haddad, Landon Haddad, and Gina Grace Haddad; sister, Carolyn Haddad; brother, John Haddad and wife Mary; sister-in-law, Kay Haddad.

Wayne is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Gina Marie Haddad; parents, Stephen and Yvonne Naquin Haddad; brother, Michael Haddad.

Wayne was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Anyone who knew Wayne, knew he was a master electrician, outdoorsman, enjoyed tending to his yard, and watching old movies. Wayne enjoyed making people laugh. He had a loving spirit and was always willing to help anyone. Wayne owned and operated Best Electric since 1983. He was a 1964 graduate of St. Francis de Sales. Wayne was an active parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church and a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus Member. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Wayne leaves a beautiful legacy behind to be united with his family who passed before him. He now holds his precious baby girl, Gina Marie, in his arms. They both rest in the arms of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Annunziata Catholic Church.
