Virgie Blanchard Price

Virgie B. Price, age 92, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was a native of Morgan City and a longtime resident of Lafayette, La. 

Relatives and friends of the family are in invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery #2. 

Virgie is survived by her daughters, Linda Price Hebert (L.J.), Sharon LaCoste (Polo), and Cathy White (Mike); grandchildren, Todd, Christie, Trisha, Kent, Jeremy, Katie, Candice, Sarah; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

Virgie is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Jospeh Price; parents, Theodore Blanchard and Appoline Granier Blanchard; brother, Theral "Sonny" Blanchard.

Virgie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed nothing more than cooking and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
