Twila Armstrong

Twila Marie Boquet Armstrong, age 98, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 8:20 am. She was a native and resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in Terrebonne Memorial Park.

Twila is survived by her sons, James Armstrong and wife, Mary Ann, and John N. Armstrong and wife, Laura; daughter, Juanita A. Isham; brothers, Norris "Tupee" Boquet, Jr. and wife, Joyce, and Francis "Pete" Boquet; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Twila is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Duncan Armstrong; parents, Norris Pierre and Annette Philomine Walker Boquet; brother, Julius "J.D." Boquet and wife, Thelma “Babe”; sister, Ruth LeCompte and husband, Philip; son-in-law, Jerry Isham, Sr.; sister-in-law, Carlin Boquet.

Twila was a homemaker and a former sitter for the elderly. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
