Trisha Ann McElroy

Trisha (Trish) Ann McElroy, mother and dog lover, passed away at 62 years young, on Monday, September 8th. She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrna McKinley, and father, Fred McKinley.

Trish was a proud alumnus of Miami of Ohio and Midwestern State Universities. She enjoyed walking, spoiling her dogs, and beating her children at Yahtzee, Scrabble, and Gin rummy. She loved chatting over a cup of black coffee, sharing recipes with her children over the phone, and playing 31 with her friends. Growing up near Lake Canandaigua, she was an avid lifeguard and swimmer. One of her children’s favorite memories of her was when she read them the entire Harry Potter series, passing on her love of reading.Trish was most proud of her children and family.

She is survived by her husband, Felix P. McElroy, three children, Michael McElroy, Christina McElroy (Drake Chiasson), and Meghan Zeringue (Khent Zeringue), her step-son, Daniel McElroy (Samantha McElroy), and siblings, Lorrie McKinley, Bryan McKinley (Nancy McKinley), and Tina White (Ken White). In addition, she has numerous nieces, nephews, and three grandchildren who adored her.
