Tommy Paul Hebert, a native of Upper Little Caillou and a resident of Houma passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 68 following a brief battle with cancer. He spent 42 years working in the oil field services industry, retiring in 2017. He loved to fish and spent every beautiful day fishing since his retirement. He was an expert Tarpon's fisherman, who won or placed in the "catch and release" division of the Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo several times. Red fish feared him.

He was a member of the Krewe of Terreanians for 48 years, where he met some of his closest friends. He reigned as King Terre LXVIII in 2018, an experience he cherished for the rest of his life.

He loved football and was a New Orleans Saints Season Ticket holder for 28 years, where he met a special group of people who became good friends.

He enjoyed traveling and took trips to Europe and Alaska in the last year of his life. He never stopped planning his next adventure.

He adored his children and cherished his grandchildren. He could often be found at ball parks and gyms watching his grandchildren play.

The family wishes to thank his closest friends, Gary and Sharon Chatagnier, Don and Stella Prosperie, Mitch and Allison Theriot, David and Lesa Soileau and David and Susan Prevost for their unending devotion and support, especially during the final week of his life.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to The V Foundation of South Louisiana, which supports the teachers at Vandebilt Catholic High School, the school that 3 of his grandchildren attend. Go to VFoundation.net to donate.
