Susan Brien Delahoussaye

On February 21, 2022, Susan Brien Delahoussaye passed peacefully from this world in the care of her two loving sons.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until the Celebration of Her Life at 12:30 PM. A eulogy will be read in celebration of Mrs. Susan’s life. Her burial will follow in St. Frances Cemetery (#2).

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Brien; sisters, Dayna Brien Waters, Noby Brien Barnidge, Stacie Williams, and Sherie Langford; sons, Jamie Thomas Delahoussaye and Brien Henry Delahoussaye and wife, Natalie Wuest Delahoussaye; and sister-in-law, Linda (Kelly) Brien.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Francis Brien, Sr. and brother, Henry Francis Brien, Jr.

Susan was well-known for her love of gardening and cooking. She was a baseball mom through and through and would never fail to be in the stands to support her boys. She was a loving mother, whose pride and joy were her family. Her sons will always remember her for her selflessness and her amazing cooking. Susan will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
