Steve Michael Guidry

Steve Michael Guidry, 79, passed away surrounded by his wife and loving family on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 12:00PM. Steve was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Steve is survived by his loving family; his wife of fifty-five years; Milly Bergeron Guidry; children, Becky Guidry (Timothy Billiot), Avery Guidry (Stacie), Amanda Bruce (Timothy), Ben Guidry (Kayla); siblings, Jane Hebert, Allen Guidry (Juanita), Rosalie Bergeron, Gail Marcel, Charles Guidry (Donna), Ricky Guidry, Wendy Naquin (Donald), and Cody Guidry (Tanya); grandchildren, Amber Smith, Simeon Guidry, Abigail Guidry, MacKenzie Blanchard (Raymond Love); and great-grandson, Morgan Love.

Steve is preceded in passing by his parents, Clay and Cecile Buquet Guidry; brother, Dean Guidry; infant brother, Clay Patrick Guidry; brothers-in-law, A. P. Hebert; Lee Bergeron, Gerald Marcel, and grandson, Logan Smith.

Steve was baptized on March 30, 1975 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed telling other about the prospect of the resurrection hope. He was faithful till his death.

Steve liked to fish, go hunting, camping, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

Steve will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched through his years; but he will never be forgotten and always and forever loved.

The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice for all their love and help provided to Steve and family in their time of need.
