Shirley Eschete

Shirley Ann Boudreaux Eschete, age 86, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

A visitation in her honor will be held from the Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday,  January 27, 2021 from 9 :00 AM until 10:30 AM followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church at 11:00 AM.   Interment to follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 in Houma, LA.

Shirley is survived by her son, Gregory J. Eschete; daughters, Jennifer E. Bennett, Laura E. Chauvin and husband, Jody, and Cynthia M. Eschete; grandchildren, Zachary J. Quatrevingt and wife, Jennifer Denton, Carrie Voisin, Bradley J. Voisin, Jr. and wife Erin, Romettra E. Voisin; great-grandchildren, Abbigail E. Tindell, Ally N. Tindell, Emma N. Quatrevingt, and Ella G. Quatrevingt. Great- great grandchildren Declan Voisin, Asher Voisin, and Sabastian Molina.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Donald Anthony Eschete; parents, Joseph Felician and Alberta Eve Falterman Boudreaux; sister, Virginia L. Bergeron and husband, Donald Sr.

Shirley retired after twenty years of service as a secretary from the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She was a past member of the Terrebonne Retired Teachers' Association.  She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church, loved conversing on the phone, and spending time with family and friends. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Francis de Sales. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
