Sheila R. McDonald

Sheila R. McDonald, 73, a native and resident of Houma Louisiana, was born December 16, 1952, and went home to be with our Lord on December 27, 2025.

A Memorial Service will be held at "The Hill Church". Time and date to be announced.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Dan L. McDonald, her son Lance Robichaux (Teri), stepson, Dan L. McDonald II (Kim), stepdaughter, Jenny M. West (Joe); her grandchildren, Dakota, Madison, Alexis, Felicity, Isabell, Kalie, Karli; and her brothers and sisters, Randy Clark Romero, Jean Angela Richard, Scott Romero, Amy Yokley, Sherri McNab, Tara Kenny, Mark Domangue, Rhett Domangue, and many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives too numerous to list. She is also survived by many precious members of her church fellowship family of "The Hill Church" located on Coteau Road in Houma Louisiana where she is a long-standing member.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston J. Romero and Judith H. Romero Yokley and her brothers, Todd F. Romero and David Paul Romero.

She was retired from the Terrebonne Parish District Attorney's Office after 30 years of service through three different District Attorneys.

We would like to express a heartfelt and special thanks to Mrs. Judy Chaisson, her sister in Christ and devoted care giver, Hope Hospice, and every one of you who showed up and provided love and support to our family during these past several years as Sheila battled through her illness. Mere words are not able to express the gratitude of our hearts. Thank each of you again.

Sheila had requested that she be cremated.
