Sheila Ann Larpenter

Sheila Ann Larpenter, age 61, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021at her residence. Sheila was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until her Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.

Sheila is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Kent Larpenter, Sr.; precious children, Brandy James and husband Coby, Heidi Jarreau, Kent Larpenter, Jr.; Alexis Larpenter; adored grandchildren, Tyler Jarreau, Austin, and Jose’ Zavala, Cobeelynn, Johna, and No’el James, Gabriela and Gabriel Zavala, Landyn Naquin; sisters, Linda David, Brenda Ross, and Devina LaPrarie.

Shelia is preceded in death by her parents, David and Helen Ogden Perritt; grandson, A’ason Daniel James.

Sheila was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Anyone who knew Sheila, knew she was always fun, had a radiant personality, and a beautiful smile. She loved to sing to her children and grandchildren, going to the beach, and watching butterflies. Sheila leaves this world behind to be reunited with her family who passed before her whom she missed so much. She will be loved and missed but will always be remembered in the hearts who cherished her dearly. She is now at peace and rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
