Sheila Bergeron

Sheila Ann Olivier Bergeron, age 71, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 9:00 pm. She was a native and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Gregory Barbargio Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 beginning at 10:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.

Sheila is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Paul Bergeron; mother, Doris Pitre Rhodes; son, Brett L. Bergeron and wife, Renate; brother, Gary A. Olivier and wife, Barbara; sisters, Cheryl R. Maynard and husband, William "Bill", Elena R. Savoie and husband, Weldon, and Leslie R. Rodrigue and husband, Melvin; grandchildren, Gavin, Korrine and Carson Bergeron.

Sheila is preceded in death by her father, Norman Olivier; son, Eric P. Bergeron; stepfather, Joseph “J.C.” Rhodes.

Sheila enjoyed gardening, traveling and decorating her home. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
