Ruth Carlos

Ruth Lunk Carlos, 84, was born on March 23, 1941 and passed away on October 12, 2025. She was a resident of Gray, LA, born and raised in Des Allemands, LA.

A visitation and mass will be held in her honor on Monday, November 3, 2025 at St. Bernadette Catholic church in Houma, LA. Visitation is from 9am-10am, mass from 10am-11am. Reception to follow at St. Bernadette Hebert Hall. A private family burial will be held at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery II.

She is survived by her fiance' Russell Oubre, daughters Denise Carlos Boudreaux (Keith); Tanya Carlos Pitre (Glenn); son, Trent Carlos (Maria); Eight (8) grandchildren and three (3) great grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Roxanne Lunk Dufrene (Brian) and brother, Ronald Lunk (Phyllis).

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Lunk and Marquerite Vicknair Lunk; husband Randolph Carlos Jr; son, Rory J Carlos (Sue); brother Roy J. Lunk.

She deeply loved her fiance' Russell, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. She was really proud to be a nurse and was known as a compassionate and skilled nurse. She was passionate about her home, gardening, dancing and fishing.

The family would like to thank Audubon Care Homes (Dreyfous House) staff, Interim Hospice , personal sitter Monica Fitch, and all her supportive neighbors, family and friends.
