It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Bourg, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this world on November 9, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on June 16, 1951, Roy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and deep connections with those around him. He resided in Houma, Louisiana, where he nurtured a close-knit family and a community that will forever remember his warm spirit.

2 Timothy 4:8-7 "I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; and I have kept the faith. "Roy is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Maryann C. Bourg, whose companionship and partnership defined much of Roy's joy. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories, including countless casino trips that brought them both happiness and excitement. Roy was also a proud father who enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He found immense joy in fishing with his son-in-law Jake and embarking on memorable road trips with his daughter Rachel. Roy shared a special bond with his buddy Casey, often collaborating on various projects that showcased their shared passion for craftsmanship.

Roy is survived by his beloved wife, Maryann C. Bourg; children, Rachel Gravois (Jake); Casey Bourg (Heidi); grandchildren: Sarah B. Naquin; Josh M. Fontenot; Austin Bourg; great grandchildren, Liam Foret; Silas Naquin; Hughlan Naquin

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Farkas & Willard J. Bourg Sr.; siblings: Elizabeth Minks; Robert Bourg; Willard Bourg Jr.; MaryJane Minks; Raymond Bourg Sr; Paul Bourg. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association

Special thanks to: Dr. William Ladd, Cardiovascular Institute, Dr. Gregory Maidoh, all the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care, Terrebonne General Medical Center and Haydel Memorial Hospice, with a special thanks to Jodie Thibodaux, Nadine Davis, Melissa Rice, and Dr. Logan St. Cyr.

Roy Bourg will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
