Robert Gerard Hebert

Robert Gerard Hebert, 74, a native and lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana, passed away at his home on May 2, 2026.

Robert was a loving and devoted father, husband, and brother. He was a proud Cajun, a devoted LSU fan, a well-read history buff, and the most tenacious Yahtzee player in 64 parishes. He never met a stranger, and he never missed an opportunity to share a story. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Hebert; daughter, Rachel Hebert (Jaylin); brothers, Michael and Charles Hebert; sister, Dorothy "Sissy" Theriot (Carl); his three step-children, Stephanie, Jaime, and Jason; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Dorothy Joan Galvin Hebert and brother Dennis Charles Hebert.
