Renee Elaine Coakley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Renee Elaine Coakley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on May 5, 2025, just days shy of her 66th birthday. Born on May 15, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Renee lived a life dedicated to her family and the beauty of the world around her.

Renee took immense joy in nurturing not only her family but also her vibrant flower beds and vegetable gardens, which were a testament to her green thumb and passion for life's simple pleasures. Her incredible cooking brought warmth and comfort to many gatherings, and her family enjoyed the delicious meals that only she could create with so much love. Renee had a unique affection for literature; she found joy in the pages of books, especially appreciating the smell of a used book, which spoke to her love for meaningful stories. Above all else, her children and grandchildren were her world, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by Michael, her loving husband of 46 years; her cherished children, Michael Carmine Coakley II of Houma, LA, Corinne Kastner and husband Todd of Broussard, LA, Camryn Dupre and husband Jonathon of Bourg, LA; her adored grandchildren, Carson Coakley, Cullen Kastner, Owen and June Dupre; her Mother-In-Law, Betty Coakley; her brothers, Raymond Klauk II and wife Joann, Ron Cutlip and wife Mary; sisters, Rhonda Pilcher and husband Whit, Robin Cribb and Reelynda Robinson.
