Ralph Paul Robichaux, born June 16, 1953 (73) and a native of Houma, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 4:17 p.m.

Ralph was the beloved husband of 51 years to Debra "Debbie" LeBoeuf Robichaux. He was the proud father of Joshua Robichaux (Lindsay) and Sera Robichaux Abadie (Scott), and a devoted grandfather to Rylee Morgan Abadie, Paxton Jude Abadie, and Everett Hayes Robichaux, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.

He is also survived by his brother, Johnny Robichaux; his sisters, Lorraine LeBlanc and Amanda Lopinto; his brother-in-law, David LeBoeuf (Peggy Mazerac); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Audrey Malbrough Robichaux.

A proud patriot, Ralph honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1975 during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of Hull Technician Third Class (HT3) and proudly served aboard the USS Saratoga (CV-60), participating in combat operations in Southeast Asia. His military service remained one of the greatest sources of pride throughout his life, and he held a deep love for his fellow veterans and for his country.

Following his military service, Ralph dedicated 41 years to the oilfield industry, retiring after a distinguished career with Texaco and Chevron. He believed in hard work, honesty, and providing for his family, and he carried those values with him every day of his life.

When he wasn't working, Ralph found happiness in the simple things. He loved spending time in his yard, tinkering in his work shed, and using his hands to repair and build just about anything. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and, above all, treasured every opportunity to support his children and grandchildren by attending their school activities and sporting events. Nothing made him prouder than watching them grow.

Ralph will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his remarkable work ethic, his kindness and generosity, his steadfast faith, and his fighting spirit. Even in the face of life's greatest challenges, he demonstrated courage, resilience, and a determination to never give up. His quiet strength, wisdom, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at noon with burial to follow at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Manthri and the dedicated staff of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, St. Catherine's Hospice-especially Kristie Spears-and the compassionate staff of The Claiborne at Thibodaux for the exceptional care, comfort, and kindness they provided to Ralph and his family during the past several months.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center or Children's Hospital of Atlanta in honor of his grandson, Everett Robichaux.
