Peggy Sue Bestick

Peggy Sue Kingen, age 65, passed away on January 29, 2026. She was born on July 1, 1960.

Peggy was a loving mother and grandmother whose life centered around her family. An avid reader, she was often engrossed in several novels at once and found comfort and joy in the stories she loved. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, sharing meals and homemade treats as a way of caring for those around her.

She leaves behind her children, Cory Hatton and his wife Stephanie Hatton, Callie Bestick and her partner Doug Bourgeios, and her adopted child PJ Kingen. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Zackery Hatton, Sadie Hatton, Kyle Bestick, and Julie Parrott, who were a constant source of pride and happiness. She was also survived by her siblings, Timothy Kingen and his wife Laura, Cindy Brown and her husband Henry, and Jenny Billiot.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Kingen, her mother Valerie Hesselgrave, and her stepfather Ray Hesselgrave, adopted child Scotty Kingen, as well as her siblings Kevin Kingen, and Richard Kingen.

Peggy will be remembered for her love of family, her kindness, and the quiet moments spent reading. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
