Paulette Margaret Breaux Lundy, 77, of Bourg, LA, passed away on April 7, 2026.
She was born on August 30, 1948 in Houma, LA.
She grew up in Montegut, Louisiana, and graduated from South Terrebonne High School, later earning her cosmetology certification from the Marinello School of Beauty.
Paulette was a natural caregiver, with a selfless and compassionate heart, always opening her arms and her home to anyone in need-family, friends, or those who simply became family along the way.
In this chapter of her life, she found her greatest happiness in time spent with family, especially her three great-grandchildren, who knew her as "Mawmaw," held a special place in her heart, and whom she loved "to the moon and back."
She is survived by her children, Brett Lundy and Heath-Crystal Lundy (Ryan); her grandchildren, Jennifer Verdin, Devin Swisher (Emily), Lane Lundy, and Brynn Arriago (Elijah); her cherished great-grandchildren, Sebastien, Kolton, and Reigney; her siblings, Patricia D. Chauvin and Harry Dugas (Janys); her goddaughter, Tina Dugas; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Heath Christopher Lundy; her husband, Jerry Lundy; her mother, Ouida Lirette Dugas Breaux; and her father, Hilton "Blackie" Breaux.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00am until service time. Funeral Services will follow visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Monday 20, 2026 at 11:00am with private burial following services.
Flowers may be sent to Chauvin Funeral Home, with Paulette requesting yellow flowers or other colorful arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to any charitable organization that reflects her spirit of kindness and does good in the world.
Paulette Lundy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
