It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patty Ann Champagne, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on December 3, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in Houma, Louisiana, Patty spent her life dedicated to her family, creating a warm and loving home.

Patty is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Dave Champagne Jr., her cherished son Derrick Champagne, and her adoring granddaughter, Stella Champagne. She is also survived by her loving mother, Mary Pinel, along with numerous nephews and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Preceding her in death were her father, Raymond Pinel Sr., and her three brothers, Raymond Pinel Jr., Darrel "Papoose" Pinel, and Karl "Punkin" Pinel, as well as her beloved grandparents, Paul and Anita Dupre, and Josephine and Nemis Pinel.

Patty's life was filled with creativity and passion. She was an avid crafter, always finding joy in making unique items and sharing them with loved ones. An enthusiastic supporter of Mardi Gras and a devoted New Orleans Saints fan, Patty filled her home with memorabilia that reflected her vibrant spirit and love for life.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. till the time of the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church of Bourg, LA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Patty will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the countless lives she affected with her love, warmth, and unwavering kindness.
