Patsy Flatau Connaway Floyd Ambrogio, age 84, was a native of the Republic of Panama and long-time United States citizen. She was a resident of Houma, Louisiana for over 50 years. She passed away in her sleep on July 23, 2026.

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Holly Morash and Lori Connaway; her grandchildren, Hunter and Chase Morash and her later in life companion and friend, Peter Foret.

Patsy was preceded in passing by husbands Wayne D. Connaway, Douglas Floyd, and Carlos Ambrogio, as well as her beloved parents, John and Ivy Flatau and her loving sister, Betty Flatau Taylor.

Patsy can be remembered as a truly independent, self-sufficient and organized woman, with a hard work ethic. She worked at LaRussa Real Estate in Houma, taught Spanish as a school teacher and loved to teach art in her home, as a very talented painter. She loved nature, especially birds and flowers. She loved living in Louisiana. She loved the Saints football team with a passion, too. She lived a very long life enjoying the way she lived.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering in honor of Patsy on Monday, August 17th, 2026, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. Patsy will be laid to rest in St. Francis Cemetery #2 after the service.
