Pamela Tyler

It is with the deepest of sympathies that Chauvin Funeral Home and the family of Pamela Johnston Tyler, a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and resident of Houma, Louisiana, announces her passing on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

A visitation will be held in her honor in Chapel Dauphine on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 10 am until the Religious Service at 12pm. Interment will follow in St. Francis 2 Cemetery.

Pamela is survived by her son, Brandon R. Reich (Melissa); nephews, Jacob and David Johnston; grandchildren, Em’Orri McKinley, I’Yana Williams, Rhylee Williams, Aniyah Carroll, Imani Carroll, Raven McKinley, Ciere McKinley, and Alvin Conley.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Tomie G. Tyler; sons, Thomas A. Tyler and Christopher A. Johnston; parents, George Allen Johnston and Lora Juanita Marcenac Johnston; brothers, Roger D. Johnston and Charles D. Johnston; aunt, Ivonne Mott; and grandson, Kassidy Harvey.

Pamela was known for her skill in interior decorating and built her lovely home around her passion and family. Her family remembers will remember her for her absolute love of Peace Lilies and Carnations. She enjoyed spending time and making lasting memories with her friends and family.

Pamela will be dearly and deeply missed by all those who had the honor to know and love her.
