O'Neil Joseph Mabile, Jr.

O'Neil Joseph Mabile Jr., age 82, passed away at his residence on July 15, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Houma and a native of Donaldsonville.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am. until 12:00 p.m. A Monic Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.

O'Neil is survived by his daughters, Melanie Mabile Mulcahy and fiance' Abid Hussain, Melissa Mabile Moreau and husband Mark Moreau; grandchildren, Reilly, Finley, Jackson, and Harrison; step grandchildren, Morgan, Samantha, and Simon; sister, Marvel Allred; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loving companion, Gail Fanguy.

O'Neil is preceded in death by his son, Matthew; wife, Alycia Mabile; parents, Eula Acosta Mabile and O'Neil Joseph, Sr.; brother, Larry Mabile; sister, Mavis Thomas.

O'Neil proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Nicholls State University and a Mud Engineer with over forty years of service in the oil field. O’Neil was an avid lover of fishing and hunting. He was also a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge.
