Oliver Boyer, Jr.

Oliver Joseph Boyer, Jr., age 99 passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 30, 2017. He was a native of Paradis and a resident of Houma, LA. Private graveside service at a later date. Oliver is survived by daughter, Marion B. Manor; granddaughter, Jerri M. (Brad) Villavaso; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Alexander, and Andrew Villavaso; stepson, David (Elaine) Luke;   step-grandchildren, Ted, Telly, and Tessia Luke. Oliver is preceded in death by 1st wife, Delta Lirette Boyer; 2nd wife, Zoella Luke Boyer; parents, Oliver Joseph, Sr. and Thomasine Dufrene Boyer; brothers, Wilfred and Claude Boyer; sisters, Agnes Legendre, Mary Durham, and Dorothy Benoit; Grandson, Shea M. Manor; Great-grandson, Matthew M. Villavaso; . He was retired from Texaco after 35 years. He served in the U.S Army during WWII. He was a member of Krewe of Flames and Krewe of Terrreanians for many years. He enjoyed spending time with family, and dancing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
