Norman J. Dupre, native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, passed away on June 24th, 2026 at the age of 67.

Norman was born on April 17th, 1959 in Houma, Louisiana, to Marie and Junius Dupre. After graduating high school, he joined the USMC and later continued his life in the electrical and medical fields as a dialysis technician. He married Karen Dupre in 1989 and together they shared 27 wonderful years. Norman was known for doing things his way, loving on his kids and grandkids, and always keeping life fun. You could find him jamming outside to a live music performance, playing golf with his son and friends, and drinking a beer after a long day.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Baudoin (Andre), son Gregory Dupre (Hannah & Sloane); loving partner Patti Housley; and his siblings, David, Anita (Dennis), Bernice (Wayne), Junius Jr., and Philip (Shelia).

He is proceeded in death by his parents Marie and Junius Dupre, sister Loretta Dupre, and his late wife Karen Dupre.

A toast to his life will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel from 9:00a.m. until the Service at 11:00a.m. Military Honors will be rendered at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to the Toys for Tots in honor of Norman.
