Norma Marie
Pellegrin
Nov 1, 1949 — Jun 15, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Marie Lirette Pellegrin, who left this world on June 15, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on November 1, 1949, in Houma, Louisiana, Norma spent her life deeply rooted in her community and beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In honor of Norma's beautiful spirit, a Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 9:00 am till the Funeral Liturgy beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home's Magnolia Chapel. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating the life of a remarkable woman who brought joy, creativity, and warmth to all around her.
There is no single way to describe her. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandma. Most importantly an Angel among us. She gave her heart and soul to all she met. She would go out of her way to bring her grandchildren cooked meals, snacks, and of course a hug. Norma loved her Conway Twitty and Seven Spanish Angles music. She was a class clown most of the time. But we knew behind all the jokes was a mother trying to give her all. She would text and call all her family out of the blue to just check in and always made sure they said a prayer to St. Michael which states "Defend us in Battle!" Well, she was the epitome of that, she defended her family from all and gave the true meaning of what a mother was meant to be. Dancing was Norma's fun time and we all know she is surely dancing all the way up the stairs to Heaven!
Norma is survived by her loving husband Thomas "T-Mark" Mark Pellegrin, Sr., sons; Thomas "Peanut" Pellegrin, Jr. (Sonia), Troy Pellegrin (Rebecca) and Michael Pellegrin (Kellie), daughters; Monica Pellegrin (Richard) and Roxanne Arceneaux (Davis), sister, Mona Lirette Christensen; brother, Lawrence "Renny" Lirette, grandchildren; Marissa Rush (Kaleb), Holly Rush (Markus), Blake Pellegrin (Shaylee), Troy Pellegrin, Jr. ( Harley), Davis Arceneaux, Jr.( Shea), Conner Pellegrin (Rhea), Haley Pellegrin, Jacob Arceneaux (Teagan), Rylie Arceneaux, Reed Pellegrin, Abbie Arceneaux and Avery Arceneaux, great-grandchildren; Dallas, Roslynn, Mahryn and Weston as well as 2 step grandchildren, Brayah and Brayden.
Norma is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Lawrence and Mavis Lirette, and her brother, Mark Lirette.
As we gather to remember Norma, we take comfort knowing that her legacy will live on through the love she shared and the memories she created. She will be dearly missed but forever cherished.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Norma's life to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
