Nora Elizabeth Malbrough Hebert

Nora Elizabeth Malbrough Hebert, age 72, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. She was a native of Houma and a resident of Schriever. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery. 

Nora is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence Joseph Hebert; sons, Rene' Hebert and wife Alina, and Rocky Hebert; daughter, Laura Bergeron and companion, Nicholas Gauthier; grandchildren, Alex Hebert, Joshua Smith, Rene' Hebert, Haley Hebert, Sapphire Hebert, Sierra Fontenot, Emily Farkas, Austin Bourg, Andrea Hebert, Victoria Bourg, Madison Verdin, Topanga Bergeron, Bryleigh Bergeron; great grandchildren, Evan, Sofia, Conner, Alyssa, McKenna, Maysen, Adeline, Chloe, Ryker, Daphne, Demi, Danae, Jaxon, Cora, Claire, Carmen, Briella, Braxx, and one great grandchild on the way; brothers, Tommy, Sr. and Carroll Malbrough.

Nora is preceded in death by her parents, Morris, Sr. and Nola Poiencot Malbrough; brothers, Morris Malbrough, Jr., Raynaud Malbrough, Sr., Avid Malbrough; sister, Virginia Malbrough Bergeron; grandson, Michael Gene Bergeron; great grandson, Owen Smith.

Nora loved her family dearly and was very active in many organizations. She loved Mardi Gras and was a member of Carnival Clubs and the Lions Club for many years. She enjoyed playing cards especially ladies night with her friends, she loved to travel and watching God's beautiful creation.
