Nancy Babin

Nancy Cangelosi Babin, 81, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 9:01AM.  Nancy was a native of Hammond, LA and resident of Houma, LA. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, October 20, 2021,  at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00AM until service time.  A Memorial Liturgy of Christian Burial will begin following visitation at 11:00AM with internment following services in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of sixty-three years, Stan Babin; daughters, Karen Babin, Michele Babin; grand-daughter, Megan Blanchard and great grand-daughter, Kylie Blanchard; brother, Nick Cangelosi, John Cangelosi, Andrew Cangelosi.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Congetta Brettillo Cangelosi; brothers, Joseph Cangelosi Jr., Paul “Rick” Cangelosi; sisters, Patricia Cangelosi and Mary Cangelosi.

Nancy enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. She also loved shopping at craft markets and collected cabbage patch dolls.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations REQUIRE facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services.
