Molly Trahan, 84, a native of Elkton, KY and long time resident of Houma, LA passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 11:25am.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 9:00am until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will follow visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 11:00am with burial taking place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 in Houma, LA.

Molly is survived by her loving family; her husband fifty four years, Don Trahan; daughter, Meredith Barringer and husband Chris; son, Randy Trahan and his wife Michelle and their children, Jake and Sidney.

Molly is preceded in passing by her parents, Carl and Louise Hadden; sons, Hal Christopher Thurmond, and Carl Ashley Trahan.

Molly was an very gifted and talented interior designer and worked on many homes, businesses, boats, and even airplanes in the Houma and surrounding area.
