Mary "Lois" Bourg

Mary “Lois” Cenac Bourg, age 78, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023. She was a native and longtime resident of Houma, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Lucy Catholic Church Friday, February 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Allen J. Bourg; sons, Mark A. Bourg (Tammy), Daniel J. Bourg (Angela Lee), Jerry P. Bourg; sisters, Evelyn C. LeBoeuf, Henrietta (Tutt) Trahan; brother, Nolan J. Cenac (Marlene); grandchildren, Daniel J. Bourg (Samantha), David A. Bourg, Craig P. Bourg, Lauren M. Hart; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Henry P. Cenac and Beatrice S. Cenac; sisters, Barbara Pye, Hazel Domangue, Elaine Cenac; granddaughter, Daphney Bourg.

Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed going to church, Mardi Gras, making flower arrangements, and sewing. Lois was a very outgoing and outspoken personality and never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
