Mary Margaret Benoit

Mary Margaret Benooit, 64, a native of Bayou Dularge and resident of Houma, LA passed away on April 11, 2026.

Mary is survived by one sister Yvonne B. Breaux and six brothers, David Benoit and wife Janice, Richard Benoit and wife Debi, Tommy Benoit and wife Debbie, Jimmy Benoit and companion Amy, Peter Benoit and wife Denise, Joey Benoit and wife Patricia and numerous nephews and nieces (of which several are godchildren).

Mary is preceded in death by one daughter, Erin Callahan, parents, Wilson J. Benoit and Ermaline W. Benoit, one brother, Steve A. Benoit, one brother-in-law, Nelson C. Breaux.

Mary was a secretary, school volunteer and caregiver of her mother. She loved her family and friends, her cats, doing yard work, playing board games with her nephews and nieces and doing stained glass work.
