Mary Voisin

Mary Breaux Voisin, 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 1:39pm surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a native of Dulac, LA and a resident Thibodaux, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Holy Family Church in Dulac, LA from 10:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday following visitation with Mass being held at 11:00am at Holy Family with burial in the church cemetery.

Mary is survived by her loving family; her daughters; Donna Vest and husband John and Christine Voisin and husband Kent; three grandchildren; Leah Robin, Gina Bascle (Dean), Anthony Voisin, six step-grandchildren; Lorena Grant (Kevin), Jay Voisin (Candice), Gordon Voisin (Erica), Brent Vest (Laverne), Keefe Vest, and James Vest (Lacy), two great-grandchildren; Micah Robin and Victoria Robicheaux and twelve step-great grandchildren; sisters, Margie Carrere, Irene Broussard (Mike), Lydia Frisella (Joseph), Irma Breaux; sisters-in-law; Jeanette Elstner, Betty Collins (Bernard), Mae Breaux, Lydia Voisin and brother-in-law, Jessie Voisin (Joyce).
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Voisin Jr, and son; Danny Voisin, Parents; Rene Breaux Sr., and Ellida Babin Breaux, Brothers; Nolan Breaux, Norman "Tutty" Breaux, Carrol Breaux, Harold Breaux, and Rene Breaux Jr. and two infant sisters.

Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was quiet and reserved but kind and generous to a fault, always putting her family's needs especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren first. Even as she slowly lost her memories and knowledge of who she was, her personality and demeanor remained. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.

We would like to thank the staff at Audubon Health and Rehab; especially the caregivers on the D-Wing and the ER and CCU staff at Thibodaux Regional for their kindness and care.

In lieu of flowers, please have Masses said for the repose of her soul at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac, LA.
