Mark Givens
Sewall
Sep 14, 1954 — Oct 27, 2026
Mark Sewall was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather whose life was centered around the people he loved most. For 45 wonderful years, he shared a devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Stephanie, building a family filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Gallion Sewall; son, Christopher Michael Ross; daughter, Shannon Lea Ross; grandchildren, Krissy Ross, Alyssa Ross Herques, Gage Ross, and Brooke Boudwin; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Sewall (Sue), Paul Sewall III (Laurie); sister, Eleanor "Dee-Dee" Robison (Glenn).
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sewall, Jr. and Lillian Frances Sewall; brother, Peter Sewall.
Mark dedicated 55 years of his life to working as a pipeline operator in the oilfield, earning the respect of those who worked alongside him through his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment. While he took great pride in his career, nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and treasured every moment spent making memories with them.
In his free time, Mark found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed escaping to the camp with his brother, where they spent countless hours fishing and enjoying the outdoors together. He had a special talent for tending to his plants and took great pride in watching them flourish. Many peaceful days were spent admiring the hummingbirds that visited his garden, bringing him both comfort and joy.
Mark's kind heart, gentle nature, and unwavering love for his family will be forever remembered by all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed by his family and friends, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in their hearts for generations to come.
A private family memorial will be held.
