Mark Guidroz, age 70, native and resident of Houma, La., passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Mark is survived by his wife, Frances Guidroz; his children, Richard Guidroz and Rebecca Fulcher; daughter-in-law, Cesalie Guidroz and son-in-law, James Fulcher; grandchildren, Aubrey Fulcher, Beckham Guidroz, Silas Fulcher, and Everly Fulcher; and a large family descending from his beloved seven siblings.

He was preceded in passing by his mother, Doris Favre Guidroz; Father, Gerald Guidroz; stepmother, Shirley Romano Guidroz; and niece, Ellie Guidroz.

Mark will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his larger-than-life personality, and his generous heart. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a Papaw who absolutely cherished his grandchildren. He took great pride in his thirty three years of work with Shell Oil, where his leadership and work ethic left a lasting impression. He was a seasoned South Louisiana fisherman, always spending time at "the camp" with loved ones. His wisdom, love, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Mark on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel beginning at 9:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. Mark will be laid to rest in St. Francis Cemetery #2.
