Mark Ellender

Mark Anthony Ellender, age 53, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2022. He was a native of Houma and longtime resident of Schriever.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial at Chauvin Funeral Home Friday, October 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

Mark is survived by his wife, Rosalie Thibodaux Ellender; sons, Justin Ellender, Hunter Ellender, Blaine Theriot; step-sons, Ryan Thibodaux, Glen LaPoint; grandkids, Wyatt Theriot, Lane Theriot, Walker Theriot, Addison Theriot, Layton LaPoint, Sebastian LaPoint, Atticus LaPoint, River LaPoint; sister, Myra Ellender Pitre; niece, Miranda Pitre; nephews, Spencer Pitre, Brendan Rosamond and Jordan Rosamond.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Whitney J. “Billy Goat” Ellender and Barbara Breaux Ellender; maternal grandparents, Clifford and Vivian Samanie Breaux; paternal grandparents, Edward and Madeline Hutchinson Ellender.

Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and drinking beer with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
