Margie Bergeron Brown, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 8:31pm.  Margie is a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Chacahoula, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, November 17, 2023 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula, LA from 9:30am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at St. Lawrence Church in Chacahoula, LA for 11:30am with burial in the church cemetery.

Margie is survived by her loving family; her son, James Clayton Brown Jr. and wife Cathy; her daughters, Roxanne Landry and Mandy Votaw; sisters, Jenny Rodrigue, Goldie Waguespack, and Miriam Pamplin; brother, Jimmy Bergeron; grandchildren, Brad and wife Lakyn Brown, Cameron Landry, Camille Bascle, and Brae’don Leger; and great grandchildren, Beaux Hebert and Wren Brown; and her special nieces who helped care for her in her times of need; Michelle Grabert, Rose Votaw, and Mary Martin; and she is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Margie is preceded in passing by her loving husband, James Clayton Brown Sr.; her parents, William and Virgie LeBlanc Bergeron; sisters, Ruth Hebert, Angelle Daigle, and Nell Votaw; brothers, William Bergeron Jr., Norman Bergeron, Jackie Bergeron, and Merle Bergeron.

Margie enjoyed reading and painting in her spare time.  She loved to work on her puzzles and visiting the casino. She enjoyed treating their pet companion “Buckshot”.  

She will be forever remembered, never forgotten and always loved by her family and friends.
