Mamie Lyons

Mamie Ann Brunet Lyons, 79, passes away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at 2:50am. Mamie was a native Pointe Aux Chenes and resident of  Bourg, LA. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a Recitation of the Rosary on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic in Pointe Aux Chenes, LA beginning at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo at 10:00am with burial in the church cemetery.

Mamie is survived by her son, Jason Lyons and wife, Vicky and grandson, Troy Marcel; and sister, Mary Jane Dupre. 

Mamie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Paola Joseph Lyons Jr.; parents, Elie Serville Brunet and Walterine Dupre Brunet; brothers, Douglas Brunet, Allen Brunet, Gary Brunet.

Mamie volunteered and gave freely of her time at St. Charles for many years serving as a Eucharistic Minister.

Mamie will be dearly missed by her family and friends; never forgotten and always loved.
