Madlyn Marcel

Madlyn Gail Hebert Marcel, 51, passed away surrounded by her loving family Sunday evening, July 23, 2017. She was a native and resident of Bayou Dularge, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at St. Eloi Catholic Church beginning at 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, LA at 11:00AM. Private burial will be held at a later date. Madlyn is survived by her loving husband Steven A. Marcel I, her children; Erica Seely and husband Jacob Seely, Steven A. Marcel II and wife Shannon Marcel, Alley Marcel and Kathryn Marcel, grandchildren; Averi and Quinn Seely and Steven A. Marcel III, mother; Yvonne Hebert; siblings; Mark, Maria, Michael, Matthew, and Martin. Madlyn is preceded in death by her father Richard Hebert. Madlyn loved life to the fullest. She loved her family and friends dearly. She had a passion for fishing, boating and singing. Madlyn worked with the Terrebonne Parish School Board for over fifteen years as a bus driver and touched the lives of many children.
