Loretta Porche

Loretta Marie Guidry Porche, age 82, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 31, 2018. She was a native of Lockport and a resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Louis Catholic Church on Monday, January 7, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in the church cemetery.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Curtis “Kip” John Porche, Sr.; son, Curtis J. (Sandra) Porche, Jr.; daughter, Glenda Kay (Paul "Polo" Voiron) Porche; sister-in-law, Enola Guidry; grandchildren, Nicole E. (Mario) Gil, Monique E. (B.J.) Boudreaux, Bailey E. Breaux, and Reyes L. Porche; great-grandchildren, Gunnar, Gavin, Rylee, Milli, Alex Rose, and Luna.

Loretta is preceded in death by parents, Edwin Simon and Wilma Marie LeBlanc Guidry; son, Glenn G. Porche; brother, Leroy Guidry; sister, Rosetta (Jerry) Bonvillain.

Loretta was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was a past member of the Bayou Blue Senior Citizens. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, planting flowers, and spending time out doors with the grandchildren. Most of all, she had a love for music and dancing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
