Lonney James Domangue

Lonney James Domangue, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was a longtime resident of Houma, La. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at St. Louis Cemetery. 

Lonney is survived by his daughters, Kim Domangue, Tanya Wintzel and husband Joseph "Joey"; granddaughter, Brittany; great granddaughters, Anastasia Claire and Chanel Angelina Grabert; brothers, Aaron Domangue and wife Ellery, Allen James Domangue; sister, Aline Fanguy and husband Howard "Charles" Beetz.

Lonney is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Brunella Domangue; parents, Albert and Delta Lirette Domangue. 

Lonney was a loving husband and father. He loved people, especially helping others in need. He worked many years in the oilfield as a pipe inspector and spent his days retired enjoying his cats and antique cars. 

The family would like to send a special thanks to Scott Haydel and Richard Haydel for all of their care.
