Linest Joseph Prestenbach

It is with deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of Linest “L.J.” Prestenbach on March 30, 2022.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Chauvin Funeral Home from 10AM until the Celebration of Life at 1PM. Burial will follow the Celebration in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

Linest is survived by his daughter, Linda; sons, Glenn, Eric, and Jarrod; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda; and brothers; Larry, Perry, and Clyde.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Emmett and Doris Nettleton Prestenbach; his first and second wives, Barbara Babin and Wilma Ogden Prestenbach; brother, Alfred Prestenbach, and son, Sean.

Linest owned a Marsh and Swamp Equipment business for many years. In addition to owning his own business, L.J. was a cattle rancher and enjoyed carpentry work.

Linest “L.J.” Prestenbach will be dearly missed by all those who had the honor to know and love him.
