Letha is survived by her children, Blake Verret, Cy Parfait, Arianne Verret, Nicola Billiot, Kendrick Verret, Chadalyn Trosclair, Chadica Trosclair; grandchildren, Blakelynn, Paisley, Harper, Asher, and Weston; her companion, James Crochet; father, Albert Verret, Sr.; step-daughter, Lakayla Crochet; siblings, Albert Verret, Jr. (Patty), Cynthia DeHart (Jonathan), Charles Verret (Kalani), Nancy Lirette (Johnny), Michelle Lutz (Scott); and her beloved dog, Buddy.

Letha was preceded in passing by her mother, Verna Mae Verdin; her brother, Paul Verret; uncle, Raymond Clark, Sr.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Letha on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel, from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel, beginning at 10:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00p.m. Letha will be laid to rest following her services in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Letha passed away on September 13, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of unconditional love. She was a devoted mother, beloved sister, grandmother, and friend whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and light to everyone who knew her.

Letha's children were the center of her world and the greatest joy of her life. Her love extended far beyond her own family, earning her the reputation of being a "mom" not only to her children, but to many of their friends as well. Her home was always open, and there was never a shortage of kids, grandkids, family, and friends gathering under her roof. She loved hearing the house filled with laughter, conversation, and the sounds of those she loved most.

Known for her biggest smile and contagious laugh, Letha had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome and valued. She always saw the good in others and believed everyone deserved kindness and understanding. Whenever someone needed advice, comfort, or simply someone to listen, they could find her on her porch. Countless conversations took place there, and people always seemed to leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more hopeful than when they arrived.

Letha lived life with a fearless spirit. She was adventurous, spontaneous, and never afraid to speak her mind. Fierce when she needed to be, she stood up for the people she loved and faced life's challenges with courage and determination. Her strength was matched only by her compassion, and she never hesitated to help others whenever she could.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether tending to her flowers and plants, enjoying a cold Dr Pepper or Monster Energy drink, snacking on Skittles and Goldfish, or settling in to watch a scary movie. Halloween was one of her favorite times of the year, and she embraced it with the same enthusiasm and fun-loving spirit that she brought to everything she did.

Above all else, Letha will be remembered for her loving heart, selfless nature, and the countless lives she touched. She had a way of making people feel like family, and her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love created memories that will be treasured forever.

Though her family and friends grieve her loss, they take comfort in knowing that her love lives on through them. Her smile, wisdom, strength, and kindhearted spirit will never be forgotten.

She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and countless friends whose lives were made better simply by knowing her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind forever.
