Leroy Trosclair, Sr.

Leroy James Trosclair Sr., 80, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 8:30AM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will begin on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 9:00PM.   Visitation will continue on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Monday at Maria Immaculata at 11:30AM with burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. Leroy is survived by his loving Wife of sixty years, Jessie Aysen Trosclair; Son, Leroy J. Trosclair Jr and wife Debbie Ellender Trosclair; Daughter, Vickie Trosclair Samrow; Brothers, Errol Trosclair and Lionel Trosclair; Grandchildren, Jenni Menard Chouest, Jason Michael Trosclair, Jarrett Michael Trosclair, and Megan Marie Trosclair; and Great-Grandchildren, Jaelyn Chouest, Cohen and Colton Trosclair.   He is preceded in death by his Parents, Lindsey Elias Trosclair and Rae Mae Ardoin Trosclair; Daughters, Natalie Susan Trosclair and Pamela Ann Trosclair. Leroy was a musician and loved to play his Saxphone with “The Jade’s “ and “Errol and the Blues Boys” He will be deeply missed by all who knew him; but never ever forgotten.
