Baby Khalil, 26 days old, grew his angel wings early to be united with his mother, Emily Ledet. Khalil has gone home to his heavenly kingdom to be held for the first time by his mother Emily.
A private burial service was held at St. Francis Cemetery No.2.
Khalil is survived by his father, Sheldon Sanders; maternal grandparents, Wayne A. Ledet and Sheri Murphy Chauvin (Scott); step-grandmother, Brandy Ledet; paternal grandparents, Carlita and Roy Walker; uncle, Grant Ledet; maternal aunts, Helyn Ledet, Leah Ledet, Rebecca Ledet Long (Alex), Macy Ledet, Margaret Ledet; maternal great aunts and uncles, Joann Ledet (Glen Verrett), Phyllis Ledet Salter, Lydia Allemand (Ray), Troy Ledet (Ellen), Jules Ledet (Debbie), Samuel Ledet (Lisa), Ragis Ledet, Jr. (Grace), Wayne Murphy; paternal, aunts, Carlea Stubbs, Breyana Stubbs; paternal uncle, Devon Sanders; cousins, Symone Ledet, Fiona McDaniel, Kamille Parker, Kyndall Parker, Calvin Amacker, Jr., Noah Johnson, Jonavan Johnson, Kennedy Johnson, Cullen McDaniel, Emmanuel James; and nineteen third cousins.
Khalil is preceded in death by his mother, Emily Ellen Ledet; great grandparents, Rheta and Ragis Ledet, Sr., Donald and Patricia B. Murphy; Maternal great aunts, Brenda Pellegrin Ledet, Christine Ledet Hamner; maternal great uncle, Jack Donald Murphy; paternal great grandmother, Fay Matunda.
Khalil was a precious baby boy that went home to the Lord to soon. In his short time here on earth, he was loved deeply by his family and will always be remembered. Khalil now rest in the arms of his mother, Emily, and have eternal life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
