Kenneth Boudreaux, Sr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth "Ken" Joseph Boudreaux Sr. Also known as "Boudreaux", a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend, who peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on February 25, 1954, Ken lived a life full of adventure and purpose, spending many years as a dedicated tugboat captain within the maritime industry for 54 years.

Ken was the embodiment of what it meant to be a Boudreaux. An active spirit and a true go-getter, he approached life with enthusiasm, always ready for the next challenge that came his way. He was known for his amazing character and had a heart of gold, which he generously shared with everyone he met. Above all, Ken was a devoted family man who cherished his time spent fishing speckled trout with his beloved wife, Robin "Tweety", to whom he was happily married for 28 wonderful years. All who knew Ken knew he loved LSU and looked forward to attending baseball games. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed duck and deer hunting. Ken loved eating and peeling crabs. Number 1 select all the way! Above all, he loved his family dearly and enjoyed spoiling his grandkids.

Ken is survived by his loving spouse, Robin Boudreaux; daughter, Ericka Boudreaux; bonus son, Colby Crochet (Regina); grandchildren, Triston (Grim), Elizabeth, Jimi, Branson, Beau, Benton, and Emmersyn; siblings, Ramona Plaisance (late A.J.), Raymond Guidroz, Jr. (Annie), Karen Cedotal (Don), and Susan Blanchard (Jade), numerous nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of friends and family who will remember him for his warmth and kindness. He will be immensely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ken has now been reunited with his family that passed before him and is finally resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Boudreaux, Doris Danos, and stepfather, Raymond Guidroz, Sr.; son, Kenneth Boudreaux, Jr.; granddaughter, Renee Boudreaux; grandson, Caleb Boudreaux; mother and father-in-law, Marvin and Johanna Wallace; sister-in-law, Gina W. Breaux; brother-in-law, Dana Wallace

The family will honor Ken's remarkable life with a service that will celebrate the joy he brought to so many. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date. We invite all those whose lives were touched by Ken to join in honoring his memory.

As we remember Ken, let us carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering spirit. He may have left this earthly realm, but his vibrant energy and the love he shared will remain forever in our hearts.
