Keneth Rembert, Sr.

Keneth L. Rembert Sr. passed away on Friday January 9, 2026, just shy of 86 years old. He was surrounded by love and left behind a legacy of devotion to family, hard work, and a life well lived. He was a man whose strength was matched only by his kindness, and whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Francis Cathedral on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was the loving and devoted husband of almost 40 years to his wife, Annette Pizzolato Rembert, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. He was a proud and devoted father to his children: Regina R. Bueche-Hicks (husband John), Cindy R. Price (husband Bill), Rachel R. Hoglind (husband Mike), Keneth "Lee" Rembert Jr, and his bonus children Lisa M. Fanguy (husband Eric), and Robert "Bobby" Martin. His family was his greatest joy, and he took immense pride in each of them.

Ken was also a cherished brother to Robert Rembert Sr. (wife Gale) and sister Cheryl Rembert (companion Mary Mae). His love extended across generations, as he was the proud grandfather of 18 grandchildren and the beloved great-grandfather of 23 great-grandchildren, all of whom affectionately knew him as "POPPY." His role as Poppy was one he treasured deeply, filling his family's lives with stories, wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love.

He was preceded in death by his loving first wife of 25 years, Judy LeBlanc Rembert, and by his parents, Benard and Leona Rembert, whom he now joins in eternal rest.

Ken's life was defined by dedication-to his family, his work, and the values he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, in the stories shared around family tables, and in the generations who will continue to carry his legacy forward. He will be forever remembered, forever loved, and forever missed.

He always said, "If you need something, call"

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity of your choice in his memory.

The family would like to thank Mary Bird Perkins and MD Anderson for their outstanding care.
