Kellie Claire Pitre, 48, a Native & Resident of Houma, LA, gained her wings on the evening of Thursday, April 30th, 2026.

Born on August 8th 1977, she was a loving mother, devoted family member, and loyal friend who touched the lives of everyone around her.

She was the proud mother of three sons -Blake, Trey, and Jayce- who were the center of her world.

She was known for her hardworking spirit, her love for family gatherings, and her ability to light up any room she walked into. Whether she was gardening, fishing, or spending time with loved ones, she brought joy, laughter, and warmth everywhere she went.

One of her greatest accomplishments was recently earning her associate degree from Fletcher Technical Community College, fulfilling a lifelong dream and showing everyone around her the power of perseverance and determination.

She leaves behind countless cherished memories and a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will live on through her family and all who knew her.

She was survived by her sons, Blake, Trey (Mackenzie), and Jayce (Macy); Angela Rodrigue Pitre (Mother); Sisters: Colleen Pitre Mey (Harry “BJ” Mey), Carolyn Pitre Adams (Russel Adams), Jessica Duplantis, Ami Edmiston. Brothers: Kenneth Joseph Pitre (Lauren Coffman Pitre), Anthony “Tony” Duplantis Jr. (Casie Duplantis) Nieces & Nephews who she loved dearly: Landen, Emerson, Harry & Penelope

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Eustice & Rose Pitre; Her father: Glynn Paul Pitre; Brother: Mathew Louis Pitre; Along with many, many other family, friends, and loved ones

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation in honor of Kellie on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Chauvin Funeral Home, in Magnolia Chapel from 9:00a.m. until the Service at 11:00a.m.

Grave-side funeral services will follow at a later date and time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to support family, plant a flower or tree in her memory, or donate to local charity or scholarship in her name.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
