Judith "Judy" Lofton

Judith "Judy" Walker Lofton, a beloved mother, grandmother, and talented florist, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 14, 2025, in Houma, Louisiana, at the age of 86. Born on January 16, 1939, in Alexandria, LA, Judith touched the lives of many through her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family and friends.

For many years, Judy showcased her artistic flair as a talented florist at Crystal Vase Florist, where her creativity brought joy to countless customers. Following her passion for helping others, she dedicated her later career to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, working in the Juvenile Department until her well-deserved retirement. Her compassionate nature and sense of humor made a lasting impact on those around her.

Judy was a devoted mother to her son, Dana Lofton (Melissa), and daughters, Becky Lofton, and Lisa Domangue (Lee Boudreaux); grandchildren, Blaine and Dillon Lofton, Walker Domangue and Ava Domangue; sister, Martha Martin; her love for her family extended into the joy she found in being a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, instilling in them the same spunky spirit that characterized her own life. Judith's home was a testament to her talent in decorating, filled with beautifully tended houseplants and the warmth of a loving environment.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth Walker and Geraldine Walker.

Her enthusiasm for life shone brightly, especially during the holiday season, when gatherings with family and friends became cherished traditions. Those who knew Judith will fondly remember her quick wit, spunky attitude, and the laughter she brought into every room.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, December 27, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until her Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at a later date in Pineville, LA.

Judy Walker Lofton's legacy of love, kindness, and spunk will continue to inspire, and she will be deeply missed by all who called her friend or family.
